Signs of Blood Clots

Another complication with an LVAD, is the risk of blood clots, If you think you or your loved one may have a blood clot,  call your VAD coordinator ASAP.  Here is what to look out for:
  • Swelling
  • Pain
  • Warmth
  • Redness
